New Delhi, November 10 : The Lok Gathbandhan Party today assailed the BJP Government for resorting to changes in names of various places for political reasons as the ruling party has failed to live up to the imagination of the people. Similarly the non-BJP opposition lacking pro-people agenda has been desperately making efforts for immoral alliances for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the LGP said.
The spokesman said here on Saturday that in the absence for constructive agenda with these political parties they have been trying to mislead the masses on directionless issues. The spokesman said failing to perform during the last one and half year the UP BJP government has resorted to changes in names of various places to divert the attention of the people and has also been trying to rouse emotion through these measures.
The spokesman said these parties, virtually devoid of people-oriented programmes and policies are simply concerned with grabbing power by misleading the people. The spokesman further said it happened in 2014 with “acche din” slogan and now similar tactics is being adopted by various groups for their own vested interest. The spokesman said that LGP headed by former Secretary Government of India Vijay Shankar Pandey has launched a well-thought-out developmental action plan for every section of the society. The spokesman said the LGP is deadly opposed to compartmentalized policies of BJP and castiest approach of other parties. The spokesman said without inclusive growth plan balanced development is not possible. Pointing out that these parties are least concerned about the plight of people, the spokesman said their agenda is to keep the people into ignorance, poverty and illiteracy to serve their vested interest.

The spokesman said that unless the country was freed from clutches of opportunistic political parties depending on caste, communalism, black money and criminals, there is no possibility of the country coming out of the morass. Holding the corrupt political system responsible for the pitiable condition of the people, the spokesman said even after 70 years common man is struggling for basic facilities in his life. The spokesman said successive state and central governments have failed to provide basic amenities to the poor people who are forced to give money to officers/employees to get their legitimate work done and become victim of dalas and rampant corruption in the system.

The spokesman said there is urgent need of honest, experienced and transparent political leadership to take the country out of the messy situation morass. The spokesman said the LGP has been making efforts to present an honest, capable and transparent political alternative which could help in eliminating corruption, injustice, poverty, unemployment and other problems and ensure happy prosperous life to common man.
