The spokesman said apart from cow vigilantism, fake news like child lifting, rapes has led to spurt in mob lynching during the last few years and the central as well state governments cannot absolve themselves of the responsibilities. The spokesman said that the directives of the apex court should be immediately implemented and those violating it should also face action. The spokesman that with 2019 Lok Sabha election fast approaching BJP leaders have stepped up their communal overtones to appease the communal elements responsible for creating law and order problem. The spokesman said this is in fact diversionary tactics to deflect the attention of the people from real developmental issues and rampant corruption in the system. The LGP has thus called upon the peaceful and freedom loving- people to counter these forces for the larger interest of the country, as there are many more pressing and essential issues which deserved attention and solution.
