New Delhi, October 4 : The Lok Gathbandhan Party today criticised various political parties of divergent views for rushing to enter into opportunistic electoral alliances for 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The LGP said apart from NDA and UPA other regional parties making efforts to come together despite their past clashes against each other amply indicated that they are only interested in clinging to power by hooks or by crooks and are not bothered about interest of the people.
The spokesman of the party said here on Thursday that Congress, Samajwadi Party, BSP always represented divergent political views to serve their vested interest but now want to come together against NDA which is also a big conglomeration of large number of parties of differing perception. The spokesman said these groups virtually lacking people’s programmes and policies are only hankering for power through caste and communal combination. Moreover with new slogans these alliances have been once again trying to mislead the masses, said the spokesman and added that the people should be vigilant of such alliances and opt for honest, dedicated and transparent leadership of former Secretary Government of India Vijay Shankar Pandey, who will be contesting Lok Sabha election from Faizabad. The spokesman said Mr Pandey has already launched hectic campaigning in the constituency and has been getting good response from the people who are tired of corrupt and immoral leaders.
The spokesman that instead of coming out with developmental agenda for the welfare of every section of the society political formation of various colours are engrossed into opportunistic tie-up based on caste and communal consideration. Pointing out that these parties, including the ruling dispensation, are least concerned about the plight of people, the spokesman said their agenda is to keep the people into ignorance, poverty and illiteracy to serve their vested interest.
The spokesman said there is urgent need of honest, experienced and transparent political leadership to take the country out of the messy situation morass. The spokesman said the LGP has been making efforts to present an honest, capable and transparent political alternative which could help in eliminating corruption, injustice, poverty, unemployment and other problems and ensure happy prosperous life to common man. The spokesman has thus appealed to the people to discard the opportunistic political parties and support the Lok Gathbandhan Party to pave way for development and honest governance.
