Lucknow, October 24: The Lok Gathbandhan Party said today the ruling BJP lacking achievement on development front has now resorted to communal agenda for 2019 parliamentary elections. The LGP said the on-going campaigning in states where assembly elections are due next month the communal fangs of the BJP and its associate organisations have already started coming out.
The spokesman said here on Wednesday that the way BJP and other organisations have been trying to raise the vexed Ayodhya issue is indicative of their game plan to mislead the people. The spokesman said that peaceful people of Ayodhya-Faizabad are tired of activities of these organisations and instead wanted developmental work in the region but desperate moves are afoot to divert their attention. The spokesman made it clear that the LGP wanted amicable legal solution to the issue. The spokesman said the communal tone and tenor was set last week by these organisations which, at the cost of welfare of poor people, is now being pushed ahead at the lower level. Calling upon the people, especially those of Ayodhya-Faizabad to be vigilant, the spokesman said they should not fall into trap of these forces which have only served their vested interest over the years. The spokesman has also appealed to the people to shun the casteist political forces which have pushed the country to the brink of disaster. The spokesman expressed concern that when there is rapid developmental stride world over the Indian nation is caught in quagmire of problems filled with hatred and acrimony against each other.
The spokesman said there are deliberate efforts by these forces to change political narratives before Lok Sabha election so that utter failure of NDA government on economic front could be pushed under the carpet. However the spokesman said people are quite alert and could not be carried away by such machination. The spokesman said that at a time when the country has been facing immense socio-economic problems with massive corruption and mal-administration holding its octopus like grip over the entire system, the poor people are being fed with communal hatred and caste conflagration to serve vested interest of the political parties. Calling upon the people to leave the acrimonious past behind to join the movement of the LGP aimed at equality, protection to all, irrespective of religious, caste and other identities, the spokesman said solution to Ayodhya issue is necessary for restoration of amity and it should be seen in the larger interest of the nation.
